How To Survive In / In the Woods 2006

One thing I can say about this album is that it's raw, it's noisy and has a lot of mess ups. I love it. I always feel inspired after giving this a listen. Everything sounds like its a little too loud. The instruments sound distorted. I swear you can hear the TV playing in the background on one of the tracks. haha I can't get enough. I hope you guys like it. Anyways I'm off to band practice. :]

Living In Darkness 1981

This one right here is an essential in any punk collection. Agent Orange was one of the first punk bands I got into. One of the better ones too. haha I saw them a few years back at Warped Tour in San Diego. They put on a great show. (: It's too bad the crowd was lame. I'm not going to pretend like I know what I'm talking about, but you should get this. You won't be disappointed.

De La Soul

Stakes Is High 1996

So I bought this Walter Wanderley record right? Well I was looking into it and I read that De La Soul sampled "Summer Samba" on "Supa Emcees." I was curious as to how they would pull that off, so i got the album. Let me tell you they did a pretty good job of it, somehow managing to make it sound dark. haha It's nothing crazy, but that's how I came across this album. 90's hip hop. Get this. (:
